[MP3] VBR to CBR

Sto convertendo una serie di files mp3 (vbr) nei rispettivi cbr; mi chiedevo se ci fosse una "formuletta" o tabella comparativa a riguardo.
Nel senso: ho un file vbr a 256kbit, fino a quanti kbit potrei spingermi sul cbr? Presumo meno ma non ho idea di quanto..un 192cbr andrebbe bene o è solo spreco?

Un CBR è da 600, 900 o 1100 cm^3...Da 192 ci sono gli scooter...

Non capisco. Un mp3 a bitrate variabile non può essere a 256kbit... è a bitrate variabile...

Beh... allora considera che se vuoi tenere la stessa qualità in un cbr devi farlo a 256kbit. Ma è uno spreco inutile e ti conviene tenerlo così com'è... se no, più lo riduci, più la qualità delle parti codificate con il numero massimo di kbit ne soffrità...
Comunque un mp3 a 128kbit è già sufficiente in quasi tutti i casi, no?

bè 128 è un pò scarsetto...

meno di 192 non li considero nemmeno!

Vi sfido a capire se un file è un normale PCM o è un mp3 su di un comune stereo in una comune casa in un comune Comune...

ma guarda, quelli a 128 se li ascolti su hifi ti rendi conto che nel suono "manca" qualcosa, da 192 in su effettivamente si fa fatica a distinguere l'originale dal file mp3...
cmq se la compressione lossy si usa anche nei DVD nn sarà poi così malvagia... (certo bisogna stare con bitrate alti....)
