Client per database Access Remoto

Qualcuno sa dirmi se è possibile creare una connessione ad un database Microsoft Access remoto via web?
Sto realizzando un front-end lato client in Visual Basic 6 per accedere a un database presente su un server web, in formato MDB (microsoft Access).
C'e' nessuno che ha mai realizzato qualcosa di simile? Si deve/puo' usare ADO o DAO?
Il webserver e' IIS, da web è possibile avere l'accesso al suddetto database con delle pagine ASP.

Puoi utilizzarlo con ODBC, è la soluzione più semplice, gli imposti un database Access, ti ricordo però che sopra i 5 utenti collegati a quel database avrai grossi problemi di lentezza...

sapresti consigliarmi qualche libro/sito/howto che spiega bene il da farsi? non ho mai avuto a che fare con ODBC

Potresti eventualmente scrivere un componente per il server che faccia da tramite tra il tuo client e il db, oppure potresti fare in modo che, semplicemente, il client vb passi i dati ad una pagina asp che risieda sul server e si occupi di scrivere nel db...
