Ciao ragazzi,

volevo passare da una rete wired ad una rete wireless.

1.E' vero cio' che mi e' stato detto che posso configurare una rete wireless senza hub o access point...mi bastano solo le schede di rete???

2.Qualche marca compatibile con Linux o che fornisce i driver in accompagnamento??

CERTO! Si chiama modalita' ad Hoc. E possono convivere anche piu' di due PC.
Se lavori sotto XP e' una cavolata, si vedono in automatico e mi sa che basta mettere solo l'ip.

Bisogna muovere l'economia no????

Cmq e' una rete casalinga i cui cavi sono tirati in caso di necessita' (ed e' una cosa poco piacevole avere cavi che partono dal sallotto per arrivare in camera da letto etc.)

EDIT: per la necessità dell'access point ti hanno gia risposto, mentre per le schede mi pare che le cisco abbiano driver linux ma li ti conviene chiedere in un forum dedicato a linux e vedere quali sono le meglio supportate..
