Mi servirebbe qualcosina di poco potente (max 300W) ma in condizioni decenti

Io ho vecchi alimentatori di vecchi pc in casa... Non ho idea però della potenza che abbiano... Roba di 386 o cose del genere potrebbe andare?

Scusa ma gli alimentatori consumano in base alle richieste dei pc!se metti un alimentatore sovradimensionato alle richieste non avrai consumi maggiori rispetto ad uno che è adatto alle esigenze dello stesso.
Dovresti avere solo un consumo maggiore dello 0.9%.

Io ho in casa un alimentatore da 400W certificato AMD e INTEL.
ATX.
Utile se poi serve per altri pc più potenti (metti di fare un upgrade...o che ne so...).

Il problema era che Viry non voleva un alimentatore che consumasse troppo, ma flyzone le ha fatto giustamente notare che se non c'è assorbimento di corrente, quei Watt in più di fatto non li utilizzi, ovvero se il tuo alimentatore può erogare 5 ampere a 220 Volts (per un totale di (1110 W) ma a te ne servono solo 2 di ampere ( per 440 W), consumerai corrente per 2 ampere (quindi 440 W).

Ovviamente i valori qui sopra sono fittizzi e non tengono conto del cos fi, della potenza reale e di quella istantanea.

Cmq, il pc in questione fa praticamente solo da firewall, mi piange il cuore lasciargli su un 400w che potrei destinare a progetti piu' importanti
