per qaunto riguarda CIDR non ho capito come si calcola la subnet mask in termini pratici.

Mentre in NAT ho capito in generale cosa fa ma il procedimento specifico di NAT non mi è assolutamente chiaro...dove posso trovare maggiori info?o qualcuno mi può aiutare?

Esattamente. I 1500 bytes sono i dati di livello superiore che un frame puo' trasportare, al netto di tutti gli header ethernet.
