cmq mi piacerebbe metter mano sulla nuova scheda della SMC da 200mW!!!! sarebbe strafico.. la vendono solo negli usa con quella potenza.. ovvio.. ma un bel ebay.. magari..

Mah.. dipende dalla scheda. Molte hanno sul PCB già le piazzole forate per montare un connettore SMA femmina con flangia e si tratta solo di inibire lo switch diversity, dove presente, modificando leggermente lo stampato e/o aggiungendo/togliendo qualche condensatore SMD, ma ciascuna scheda è un caso a sè.

Io sto per sventrare una NetgearMA401, secondo le istruzioni trovate qui:

ricordo che quando c'è stato il primo boom del wifi apparvero articoli su come costruire antenne con i tubi delle pringles per trovare degli hotspot in giro per la città (ai tempi Londra) ... :asd:

Infatti, solo che il tubo delle Pringles è troppo corto, rispetto al diametro (72mm), per funzionare bene sui 2.4GHz.
Per essere precisi dovrebbe essere lungo 7.15944 metri!! :eek:

Ok per le 15 in SiLAB. Porto un'antenna omnidirezionale simile a quella della foto, una direttiva, un AP, un iPAQ con pcmcia wireless e qualche connettore e adattatore.
