perchè il testo da la probabilità che vinca io... quella del mio avversario è 1-p... voi avete fatto al contrario....

Vuoi dire il punto II.4?
No non credo... p=2/3 è la probabilità che esca testa, non che io vinca: infatti "io vinco" equivale al fatto che esca "Testa, Croce". Quello a cui ti riferisci tu è nell'altro esercizio...
E inoltre:
P("io vinco") = P(Testa,Croce) = P(Croce,Testa) = 1/3 * 2/3 = 2/3 * 1/3

E quindi ognuno ha la stessa probabilità (1/2) di vincere.

Io ho sbagliato perchè ho sbagliato il punto I.3 (penso sia corretto come l'ha fatto Lonewolf)

Inoltre non mi convince la soluzione del punto IV.2.
Per la x non c'è problema, è quella.
Ma l'ascissa trovata con la tabella D.2 mi lascia perplesso, perchè riferita alla normale STANDARD... qui non è standard...

si intendevo quello...... questo è ancora quello in cui devi fare solo un estrazione (intendevo io punto su testa e quindi vinco.. il mio avversario su croce e se esce croce vince lui...).... e devi calcolare quanto il tuo avversario deve puntare per avere un gioco equo...

quindi secondo me è 2/3 *1/3=2

poi magari sbaglio io....

Si scusa ho guardato un altro esercizio. Dunque... ti rispondo "intuitivamente" perchè non so parlare il matematichese :)
c2 l'hai calcolato nel punto II.2, l'hai scritto in funzione di c1 e p (i miei parametri)... Intuitivamente: la posta in gioco del mio avversario (c2) penso vada calcolata in base ai miei parametri.

E poi: io, che ho puntato Testa, sono avvantaggiato dal fatto di avere la moneta truccata (p=2/3)... quindi, dato in questo gioco d'azzardo ho più probabilità di vincere, è ragionevole che debba spendere più soldi; infatti io ho 2/3 di probabilità di vincere, il mio avversario ne ha 1/3. Puntando in totale 1,5€, si nota che io punto i 2/3 della posta in gioco (1€) e il mio avversario 1/3 (0,50€). I conti tornano.

Se il mio avversario puntasse 2 euro il gioco sarebbe squilibrato a mio favore.

Discutendone oggi in univ il dubbio c'era... però il suggerimento dice di trovare la probabilità usando quella dell'evento complementare («provate a descrivere la negazione di questo evento»):?
