Effettivamente e' deprimente, pero' bisogna anche capire che google cerca di aggredire la maggior fetta di mercato, cioe' gli utenti windows... il povero utente linux si configura jabber

Lo stesso per MacOS X usa Jabber e si puo usare iChat!
